Look what I ordered yesterday I guess a new thread is exactly what this forum needs now. So, any comments welcome.
Yesterday I was sitting on my bed/couch, watching TV and smoking a cigarette. Then I had the urgent need of some new stuff for my ears, for my eyes, and for my intellect. So I checked out Amazon. Though I could not get everything what I wanted - due to too long delivering times -, I am very satisfied with my selection. Though I badly miss now the Curtis Live! album and the classic Rio Bravo movie with John Wayne and my beloved Dean Martin, I could get my hands on the following: - Station To Station - David Bowie (I have the old Ryko CD Release for a couple of years now and finally ordered the enhanced version) - Innervisions - Stevie Wonder. I have the Fullfillingness' First Finale, Songs In The Key Of Life, Talking Book albums and I heard regulary that Innervisions was maybe Stevies best effort. I'm very excited to put it in. I hope on Friday 
- Tinseltown Rebellion - Frank Zappa. Once again my much beloved Frank. My 37th or 38th album - not necessarly a classic, as most people might say, bwtf. This Girl is easy meat! - For You - Prince. After I got the Prince album a few months ago, this is the last one i miss from the most classic era (up to Lovesexy). Batman will be next, and then I go out for the NPG. ---- Along with those items, I found a book with stories from Puschkin (russian literature of the 19th century is what gives me everything I need for my daily life). And last but not least: "The Elephant Man" by David Lynch, now in a 25th anniversary edition. I once saw portions of the movie, and it seems to be fantastic. I was dealing with "the great dictator" by chaplin... but then I decided in favour of the elephant man. Comments welcome! | |

I have discovered them just a few weeks ago with "Substance", that I borrowed from my nephew. After all the music put its magic on me, slowly but steadily.
