(The Roy Ayers song) RAMP Come Into Knowledge (1977) Do you know I was on a hunt for some Roy Ayers albums yesterday and assumed it was the album "Vibrations." because it sound like it came form the mid-'70's period of his music. I find the album, play it and find no song. Where can I find RAMP, is it an obscure record? (RAMP stands for Roy Ayers Music Project)

Come Into Knowledge has been reissued on vinyl so it's not hard to come by (but an original pressing is difficult to track down).

Really dig Q-Tip. His flow is so suttle and cool on top of it. Tribe Called Quest is one of the best Hip-hop groups of all time. His solo career didn't do so well, but he was still great before hand. Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

I am very glad he did not runoff to Neptunes to ride their wave.
I love his flow. Solo or with ATCQ

But then as the years went on he seem like in a subtle way like women was suppose to fall for him like he had some kind of unique appeal over women. Then I didn't like him anymore. Crush over. Sort of like when I found out Mos Def (who has that same not your typical handsome guy appeal) had 5 kids with 5 different women. Crush OVA.
DAMN DAMN DAMN!!! That absolutely ruins him for me!!! Now I'M crushed

Oh, & Tip is cool... but his solo shit didn't stick to me for more than a month

A Tribe Called Quest is my favorite hip-hop group (followed closely by OutKast and De La Soul). I even enjoy Q-Tip's solo stuff; I listened to Kamaal the Abstract just yesterday. The material I've heard from his new project, Open, sounds even better ("Official", "Scram Jones"). Unfortunately, it doesn't look as though that album's going to be released; I first heard those songs almost two years ago.
