I would love to know more about Phil and Thin Lizzy, aside from his hit songs I don't hear much info on him and his legacy.
10cc has two good songs that I hear frequently on the radio, I'm Not In Love and Reggae Party which surely doesn't define their career but are all I care about. This post has been modified from its original thought. It has been formatted to fit into the space and run in the time allotted.

Love Lizzy and ABSOLUTELY ADORE Phillip Parris Lynott! My fav Lizzy album is Black Rose, I have them all though. I think after Black Rose, Lizzy started to lose steam, due to too many 'extra curricular activities' and changes in the band line up. Thunder and lightning was a bit of a comeback for Lizzy though. I also have Phils two solo albums. There are okish. 'Solo in Soho' the first one, is the better one. Phil also had a band called 'Grandslam' after Lizzy ended that did not get signed, there was some good material there from Phil.
When he died he had been working on a third solo album with Huey Lewis, who was a good friend of his. I have heard a couple of the tracks, not too impressed to be honest. Predictable mid '80's corporate rock.
