just caught the 'living proof/farewell' tour by the diva known as cher. [i was entertained] BUT... she did not put much thought into this her swansong show!! the setlist was a virtual carbon copy of the 'do you believe?' tour. aside from adding the 2 singles from the new cd ['song for the lonely' & 'different kind of love song'] + 'all i really want to do','heart of stone' & 'just like jesse james' [which she bitched about being a smash hit ??WTF] the songs were performed in the EXACT order as before! i felt cheated. granted the new costumes and set were wicked kool and cyndi lauper rocked.

I'm seeing Cher on August 4th.I didn't see her on the 2000 "Believe" Tour,so this show will be new to me.Her new CD is excellent,I'm surprised that she doesn't perform more songs from it.She didn't do "Real Love","The Music's No Good Without You" and "Alive Again"? Wow!

Cher is also a GREAT actress.Did you guys ever see the movie 'Mask',which came out in the early 80s? That film is one of my favs,and Cher gives a brilliant performance.
