The best song to end a party.......!

For me its gotta be the 12" version of STREET PLAYER by Chicago. Who would have thought chicago could be so funky!

If you can top it,give us a list!

to *END* a party? you mean, to get people to LEAVE?

or you mean end as in, 'there's no reason to go on with this party because that song was so good'?

nothing beats deee-lite to kick a second wind into a party...doesn't even have to be 'groove is in the heart', just any of their up tempo stuff. nod

usually when the party's over, i'll play phillip glass or diamanda galas or some other form of "what the hell is THIS???" music.

TRUE STORY: i was at a holiday party once at a friend's house, and the music was flowing perfectly and everyone was dancing and having a good time and it was really a pretty perfect party....UNTIL a girl came in, marched her way over to the stereo, turned it off, announced to us all that it was the anniversary of john lennon's death and that we were going to observe a moment of silence, and then proceeded to play "imagine" on the stereo. eek

that ended the party rather abruptly.

When i say end a party ...i ant talking ballads! i ant talking slow jams!I aint talking about trying to get people out of your house....im talking about a packed dance floor, the nights about to end and you want to hit the crowd with a tune that will make them go wild!

There is a Dutch song titled 'ge moogt naar huis gaan, 't is gedaan' (It's over, go home). Works miracles to make the last ones leave. lol
