What happened to ROLLING STONE magazine

I remember when I was in high school (mid 90's) that rollongstone didn't just let anyone on their covers
People like Janet and Mariah would be on their occasionally
and that was as pop as their covers would be and even back in the 70's they use to be a cool magazine
But Clay Aitkens EWWW so not cool, ugly ugly ugly
he is Barry Manilow 2003 in every sense
Ashton Kutcher was on the cover??
Sure he is one fine looking man, but what does he have to do with rock/pop???
Have mercy

Theyve thrown out more 5 star reviews over the past year than I think they ever have in the history of their publication.

People are strapped for cash these days, Rolling Stone is probabbly more than happy to compromise their integrity for a nice bribe.

But they've always had movie stars on the cover, not just musicians. I'm actually pissed at RS cuz of their not having the late, great Joe Strummer on their cover after his passing. Who did they put instead? That fruitcake, Justiin Timberlake.
