I pulled out "Long Walk Home," PG's soundtrack to the film "the Rabbit-Proof Fence" for a listen last night. I wonder if you'd like that one too? It's bascially instrumental music, much like the Passion album.

I will look into that.

I love all of his stuff but I find it makes me sad. While any artist that can do that with music is amazing, I can only take so much. I feel the same about a few bands that also have this ability (Elton John, Coldplay and Radio Head)

Love UP! Fantastic album (and kudos to all who also mentioned OVO).

I love that one too! I tend to think of it as a companion piece to Up.

I'm still dumbfounded by up... terrific!

I read a review stating it is too dependent of the visuals that it was created for. But the outline of the project comes
across as some strong work.

Well, I've never seen any of the visuals that it was created for, and I think the album is truly brilliant. I'd LOVE to see the visuals, but I don't think the album has to have them.

I've never heard that! Too bad that Phil didn't follow in his cousin's footsteps. Phil is a sellout who now produces schlocky, sickly-sweet crap. Backinthaday he was great.

Yes he is. In fact, I pretend like he died tragically after No Jacket Required. I refuse to acknowledge that the guy who gave us "In the Air Tonight" and "That's All" was responsible for shite like "A Groovy Kind of Love" ill and those fucking Tarzan songs barf disbelief

I love Up, unfortunately I haven't listen to it for a while (car CD player acting up). I'm going to listen to it when I get home. I need to get some of his others probably this weekend.
