Sinbad's Soul/Comedy HBO Specials Does anyone remember Sinbad (the comedian) first of all?
If you do..he was funny! Anyways..he use to host these specials on HBO with Earth Wind & Fire and Kool & The Gang..he would do comedy and the bands would perform. Did anyone catch these on TV? I bet they were awesome! I'd love to hear thoughts from people that saw them on TV. I love Sinbad's comedy and I'm a fan of Earth Wind & Fire and Kool & The Gang. Let me know! Thank you!  | |

Yeah I remember these great shows. My favorite one was the one with Cameo, The Isley Brothers (Ernie was KILLIN' it on the guitar), The BarKays, Evelyn "Champagne King, and The P-Funk All Stars...It wasn't P-Funk's best peformance but still cool nonetheless. | |

He played a car salesman on an episode of Cosby Show.

With everything going on DVD these days maybe HBO will get to that one too  I remember those shows... Yeah I remember those specials, they were cool. I remember seeing Graham Central Station back in 1997(I think) and they were amazingly good. I gained a great deal of respect for Larry Graham's musicianship after that performance. Damn has it really been that long....where does the time go? | |
