While Slash and MJ might not go out drinking or looking for women, they do get along well. Slash played on "Black Or White" "DS" and I believe "Privacy" (but he went uncredited.) So that means he played on: Dangerous - 1991 HIStory - 1995 Invincible - 2001 That would mean that they have been on good terms for 10 years. Don't forget Slash also played at Michael's MSG show in 2001. While I wouldn't consider them great friends based on this alone, I'd consider them friends because they must get along to some degree to keep in contact this long. They also must have respect for each other's talents to work together on 2-3 songs.

they both have an affinity for animals. Slash stated in an interview this is one of the things they had in common (i can't see there being much else). Slash has never had a bad word to say about Michael from what i can gather.

Lisa Marie was in the audience looking pissed
cause they were after an argument. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really donĀ“t like the idea that he could have it all."

As you all know SLASH has worked with Michael Jackson. Look for SLASH on the Dangerous album also,
Slash performed alongside Michael Jackson at the 1995 MTV Video Music Awards. Slash performed the guitaring in the Black Or White segment of the performance, which included a seemingly unplanned 90 second solo, during which Jackson had undergone a costume change for the next song, Billie Jean. According to artistfacts.com: Slash played on Michael Jackson's albums Dangerous and Invincible. He also played live on "Beat It" and "Black And White" at Jackson's 2001 reunion shows in New York City. Answer to your question.."Are they friends?" Most likely "friends of mutual admiration" regarding their individual talents. personal friends. ..no supportable answer found. [Edited 12/22/05 10:03am] [Edited 12/22/05 10:04am] i love you for who you are, not the one u feel u need to be.

Slash was talking to these (i guess) radio hosts, and they keep trying to get him to say something bad or laugh at their stupid Michael Jackson jokes but he didn't. He kept saying Michael was very professional and was great to work with. Slash also appeared on a special about Michael, I forget what it was called but he was talking about Eddie Van Halen's performance in Beat It and the Thriller video. I like Slash, I even have a Slash t-shirt. It's funny seeing the expressions on people's faces when I walk through my hood wearing Slash on my t-shirt

Slash once talked about being surprised when first meeting MJ. He thought with his squeaky clean image (at that time) he'd be judgemental of his lifestyle, but was cool.
Also, during the time of the trial I know of some fans who went to a record signing or something for Velvet Revolver, one wearing an MJ T-Shirt and he pointed it out to compliment them.

Slash was having to deal with the asshole ego of Axl Rose,, I am sure slash just wanted an easy job that made him some easy money. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.

Why isn't this thread deleted? I know you didn't make a thread asking if Slash and Michael are still friends? Gee I dunno are Jennifer Batten and Michael still friends? What about Sheryl Crow. I think we need 10 more posts on each associate on that . You can't be serious
"NOTE: Easy on the multiple same-topic/artist threads, okay? ? If a certain topic on (let's say) Michael Jackson has already been posted, don't create another thread with the same topic. Unnecessary or silly MJ (or any artist) threads may be locked or removed at moderator's discretion. Thank you!" [Edited 12/22/05 13:24pm]

Right, because he was a bit hard up after GnR's last tour & his collaboration with Lenny Kravitz
