.....i see the same clips like slade and wizard etc... but also, i always see this one of "little drummer boy" by bing and dave and never fails to amuse me. The banter at the start cracks me up too.

But u know, their version is kinda nice eek

I saw a programme the other night and it said bing died about a mounth later sad So this was the last thing he proberly did.

hehe, shoulda known u'd seen it. U know, if u buy the boomerang soundtrack for the grace jones cut, then u can admit to liking a newjack track. Such a shame grace never did a newjack album (said that twice now on here)

i'm not big on anything she did after 'inside story', but i'd be curious to hear her cut on the 'boomerang' soundtrack. nod

I dont do mp3, so i wouldn't know where to look for a free sample. She was so funny in that movie. She stole the show. Its called "7 day weekend". Pretty energetic.

that was at least the second time grace jones made an entrance in a show or a movie by being released from a crate...the first time, of course, being the pee-wee christmas special! biggrin

pee wee ay? Yeah her entrance is pretty funny, as is the diner sequence, something like "dont u want my pussy?". So she was playing grace jones, she is so funny, she only needs to play herself.

Song is not heard in the movie i think?

well, i remember 'pull up to the bumper' was played in one of her scenes. i thought that was a cool little homage to grace.

and it's true - people wanna see grace play grace. who'd want to see her as some meek little shrinking violet? give her a whip and a muscleman to work over! that's our girl!

she is (in)famous in uk for a talk show she was on in the 80's. The interviewer was sitting inbetween grace and another bloke, and he was talking to grace, but then he turned his back on her to talk to the other guest, the other side of him....

...she got pissed off and said "how dare u turn ur back on me" and started slapping him. It was pretty funny.

I thought I was hallucinating the first time I saw this. Well, I might have seen some bugs crawling out of Bing's eyes, but that's another story...

It actually is a pretty nice version of the song. I wonder if Bing thought Bowie was a decent singer or if he thought he was a nut? Maybe both.

falloff GOD i love her!

i remember when she was on letterman all the time and he'd always give her grief for being so outrageous. they played a clip from her movie "vamp" once where she was doing a dance in the keith haring dress, and right in the middle you can hear dave saying "okay, that's enough, stop the tape", and then you see him sitting at the desk shaking his head and grace is falling out laughing. good stuff! lol
