My favorite song by Evelyn "Champaigne" King is "Action". That jam is guaranteed to move ya. I remember when she performed it on "Soul Train". She may have lipsynced it but the energy she saved from singing it live, she put into working that stage and turning it out. She had the crowd sweating and hollering.

This song is cool,but overall,I think the album that it comes from,'Face 2 Face'(1983) is disappointing.She should have worked with Kashif again..he's the one who produced such stunning hits like "I'm In Love","Love Come Down" and "Betcha She Don't Love You".Those are among her finest singles.On 'Face 2 Face',she switched producers and opted for a funkier sound but it didn't really suit her,imo.
