Pillowtalk by Sylvia Any one like this one. This song is one of those sexy slow jams of the 70s. I remember hearing this on the radio and took an instant likeing to this song.

The whole album is good. Had Any Lately is kinda cute. I bought the album a few years back and while it's not an album I take out often, when I do I always listen to it the whole way through. Her sound was similar to Barry White's, and their careers started about the same time. Barry was able to maintain his sound and had more studio expertise so he outlasted her.
Sylvia comes up here on the Org from time to time. It's worth mentioning that previous to her solo success with this song, she was part of a duo that had a hit with the classic Love is Strange. And, of course, were it not for her involvement with Sugarhill Records, it's possible that hip hop would never have taken off.

It's remians a hot song. So 1975-ish laid back.

I thought that was cool. She was on V-H1 last year talkin about the Sugarhill gang. It was a hip hop documentary. She dabbled in funk too. I think she either produced or discoverd Brother to Brother in the 70's.
