Chubb Rock - Treat 'Em Right

In an ongoing thread about hip-hop jump-offs, this is certainly one of my favorite. I remember at large a party in this community center in Queens circa 1990, when the song came on it definitely raised the roof. Who else digs this song?

That's the main thing I remember about the song. lol

It's OK. I remember this one from my old whoring club days of the early 1990s when the DJs were spinning a mixture of house and fast rap.
Andy is a four letter word.

I had to do a double take on the thread author! lol One of the best hip hop party tunes of its era. I also like the number he did with Tevin Campbell from the Boyz N the Hood soundtrack - Just Aske Me To.

he looked so weird in the video. He just entered hanging around all these young kids like tevin. It was meant to look funny.

I got a chubb album somewhere? Did he do "fat rat" off the strictly business soundtrack? I like that cut

A guy used to come to our high school with this silver drug kingpin suitcase (like they have in the movies whenever they want to deliver money) and the teachers would let him come in an talk to us about the dangers of drugs and unprotected sex. Anyway, his big claim to fame was that he was in this video, though I never actually saw him in it. But I guess he's the guy wearin the Easter Sunday suit dancin hard as fuck.
