Redundant HYPE?

Wow! Hype is really into the triple bar effect these days. He has used the exact same video treatment for numerous videos lately. Has anyone noticed?

I Aint Heard of That by Slim Thug
Unpredictable by Jaimie Foxx
Wanna Love You Girl by Robin Thicke
Check On It by Beyonce
Diamonds On My Neck by Smitty

They all have that triple bar effect. Cool effect and all, but c'mon Hype, show some of that versatility that youre known for.

Is anyone finding this the least bit odd. Or is it just me?

Yeah, my bro was saying how he hated vidoes like that. The same effect was used in Twista's "Tonight" video which wasn't directed by hype. That video was directed by E. White. Soon the whole thing will phase over just like the fish-eye lens he was using for a while. He also did the milk box thing for awile a seen in Jay-z's "Big Pimpin".
