Pandora-Audiophiles you need to try this out

I have been going from song to song. This is crazy how they were able to do this. And for free... under the Digital Copyright Law

Here is Pandora:

"Over the past 5 years, we've carefully listened to the songs of over 10,000 different artists - ranging from popular to obscure - and analyzed the musical qualities of each song one attribute at a time. This work continues each and every day as we endeavor to include all the great new stuff coming out of studios, clubs and garages around the world.

It has been quite an adventure, you could say a little crazy - but now that we've created this extraordinary collection of music analysis, we think we can help be your guide as you explore your favorite parts of the music universe.

Let's start a musical genome thread. This is brilliant. I will tell you how my list goes after a while.

OMG, I am so all over this! (So all over it, apparently, that it's making me talk like a teenage girl.)

I typed in "Voyage to Atlantis" by the Isley Brothers and I got this song "Everlasting" from Remy Shand, whom I'd never heard of before. This kid is HOT shit.

I like how when you give a song the thumbs-down, it acts as if it's been scolded: "Sorry about that. We'll never play that song on this station again."

That's right, bitch! whip What the hell is this Yvonne Elliman shit?

"Sorry, FunkMistress! So sorry! We won't do it again!"

biggrin

Damn right you won't.

I just tried it out the other day, and I've already created 8 different stations. The first one I tried was Genesis's "Mama", becasue I've been on a Genesis kick now for some reason. Here's what came up:

Genesis-Illegal Aliens
The Fixx-Deeper and Deeper
Rick Springfield-Celebrate Youth
Corey Hart-Sunglasses at Night (lol I almost died when this came on)
The Tubes-Piece by Piece
Corey Hart-Boy in the Box
Wang Chung-Don't be My Enemy
Ecoline Crush-You Don't Know What It's Like
Genesis-No Son of Mine
The Cruxshadows-Cruelty
Mr Mister-Is It Love
Pat Benatar-Sex as a Weapon
Blue Oyster Cult-Shooting Shark
Matthew Wilder-Bouncin' Off the Walls
Thinkman-The Ecstacy of Free Thought
Hed P.E-Boom(How You Like It) (I didn't get the "Mama" connection, but whatever lol)
Milemarker-Food For Worms

Backstreet Boys's "Larger than Life" popped up.....lol trust me they will never play that one again. I like how you can build station from a song played on your current station.
