lol Hey, he didn't find that outfit tacky, either. wink

All the Yoko hate aside, I must admit that on the subject of widows, I'm a total hypocrite. Courtney Love gets away with murder, yet I love her for all her antics. I still refuse to read Kurt's diaries, but otherwise, I think she's great. Yoko just completely rubs me the wrong way.

If Yoko gets her tit licked for the cameras at Wendy's, consider her forgiven. biggrin

shrug I don't see the problem.

You don't find that the least bit tacky?

Nope, I actually find the photo quite moving, and John was a great supporter and benefactor of the arts scene, so no - I don't see a problem with any of that or find it tacky personally, although I can understand why people either love or hate it. It is what it is.

(But I did find her dress sense somewhat wanting actually VC) wink

I think it's one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. Exploitation at its worst. But that's just me I guess.

It's not a photo that I would want, but she donated the proceeds, so what's so bad about it. It seems symbolic, like a cross. Now, if she sold it for personal gain, that's a different story, like Mel Gibson selling Jesus nails.

Good for her. Nobody squawked when there was a Joey Ramone action figure, or a Janis action figure, or a Jimi action figure. Why shouldn't she benefit from it? She's his widow.

i agree with u on this one. Even though this wasn't ur point, who cares? I know iam being a bit flippant, but its not like john was a god, and even if he was, who would care?

Yoko gives a great deal of her Lennon/Beatles income to charity. Most notably Amnesty International.

As for the talking figure, Lennon would publically hate it and privately love it.
