I LOVE THIS MOVIE...never seen it live though.
My friend and I call each other Montage and Collage just because of "All Sewn Up." My friend also had his kids (he's a teacher) sing Origin of Love. I put on my makeup. Turn on the tapedeck. Funny this thread is here... I was driving today in SF & saw a post @ a bus stop w/ an image of Hedwig that said, "Free night of theater...."

Trust me when I tell you all that the show is much more powerful than the movie. It's like seeing a great rock show AND a moving one-woman show all wrapped up in one. I cry like a damn baby every time. | |

Really? No doubt about it. Part of what made me want to do the show was how incredible it was. The movie is really more of a companion piece to the play

I did find ONE picture of me online here! This is a pic of us backstage. The guy in the middle is the lead singer of Asmodeus X, a local group who played Tommy Gnosis's band in some video footage we used. The pic is from their website:
