Oh yeah. I have not heard Fifth of Beethovwen in a minute. My dad was surpried when I liked this song. I thought it was cool the way they mixes classical and funk toghether.

I actually prefer the 1976 remake by MFSB,which appears on the 'Saturday Night Fever' soundtrack boxed

Nice Picks!! Africano!! I remember back in '75, at my house, all us kids would grab drumsticks when 'Africano" came on, and proceed to attack the furniture, lol! Everything became a percussion object --- the chair, the couch, the ironing board, the radiator, magazines, phonebooks... 'Course, the parents weren't home at the time...(although Dad probably would've joined in!) lol

The guitar figure, that starts from the intro, is such a signature part of the tune you have to do it. cool

Once you get to the solo sections you can just go for it. wink
