Ralph Tresvant CD coming in February

Ralph Tresvant is the First member of New Edition Ready to Step Up with A New Solo Record and Big Business Venture's for 2006

New Solo Album from Ralph Tresvant dropping in early 2006, Followed by a Tour with all Six members of New Edition including Bobby Brown

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 9, 2005 -- Ralph Tresvant is the first member of Legendary Super Group New Edition Ready to step up and Launch his new solo Record in 2006. Ralph is taking his career to the Next Level with his new business partners at Xzault Media Group Inc, and his upcoming sophomore solo Record, which will be released in early 2006 followed by a Tour with all six members of New Edition, Including Bobby Brown. Ralph Tresvant is the shining star of New Edition and has been captivating audiences as the front man of New Edition for over 20 years. He has been touted by Dick Clark as the musical heir apparent to the long vacated throne of the late great Marvin Gaye, and has always been an incredibly gifted, highly adored and unforgettable performer. Ralph has continually had chart topping successes with hits like, “Candy Girl,” “Cool It Now,” “Mr. Telephone Man,” “Lost In Love,” “Can You Stand the Rain,” “Sensitivity,” “Stone Cold Gentleman,” “Money Can’t Buy You Love,” “Do What I Gotta Do, “Hit me Off,” “Still in Love, ” “Hot 2 Nite,” and numerous others.

Ralph has just finished recording material for his upcoming solo album “RizzWaFaire” which is set for release before, appropriately enough, Valentine’s Day. Expect smooth, sultry vocals and silky, sexy R&B grooves that will take you on an exciting musical journey. Look for the first sensual single, “Home Girl” to hit radio in early 2006. Ralph wrote and co-produced most of the material on this album, which also includes writing and production credits from: Dan Bell and Dan Dillman of Xzault Media Group Inc, Earth Worm Productions and more.

Of the new creativity on this latest work Ralph Tresvant says;

“The sound of the album is pure “RizzWaFaire”, “RizzWaFaire” being a derivative from the French term “savoir faire”; which literally means “Savoir”-“to know” and “Faire”- “How to do”. Kind of like having the ability to say or do the right and graceful thing at the right time. Elements of this album are very personal and reflect my own perspective on my life, as I see it now. I truly believe the fans will really be able to relate to this album and recognize all of the elements within the music that represent where I have grown musically and also where much of my new music relates to their own lives and experiences because each and every one of my fans has a little bit of RizzWaFaire in them……. In reality, RizzWaFaire is everywhere.”

In addition, Ralph is taking his future career aspirations into his own hands and has partnered with Xzault Media Group Inc. of San Leandro, Ca. Xzault Media Group, is an independent media company that develops and produces quality music, family-friendly 3D animated and non-animated content for film, television, web and DVD formats. The projects they are currently developing include Ralph’s new upcoming solo album; “The Xplorers” 3D animated film/television franchise for children and families of all ages, the television docudrama and fictional film “Secrets of the Stone Tablets, In search of Montezuma’s Treasure,” based on a true-life story of a family’s 40 year search for the lost treasure of the great Aztec King Montezuma, “SharkChasers,” a reality series based on an unusual and eclectic group of commercial divers who travel the world to some of the most exotic places to dive with the most dangerous and amazing sharks in the ocean, “Sal Mander, Private Eye,” an animated project based on the 1930s serial type private eye stories which features a cast of endearing reptilian characters, Stay tuned for more details and updates that come from the creative energies of Ralph Tresvant and his partners at Xzault Media Group, Inc.

Ralph and El DeBarge just never got it together long enough to have a good career. And let's don't talk about Tevin. I wish he would pull away from the whole New Edition thing, and try harder. I guess he needs some money.

I will listen

I'm not trying to be pessimistic here, but Ralph Tresvant was never a major star. He had two decent hits and that was "Sensitivity" and "Stone Cold Gentleman." Three if you count "Do What I Gotta Do." First of all, what age range are they marketing Ralph Tresvant to? It can't be the teens because they don't know him. Can't be folks my age because we've all moved past Ralph Tresvant. Let's be real... no one bought New Edition's latest CD, "One Love." Second of all, when I think New Edition I think of the 1980's and "Mr. Telephone Man." I think of a group that when you see them perform today, it't the exact same moves and that's cool, but cats who grew up with jheri curls and rocking New Edition buttons have graduated to another level.

Sophomore solo CD? Hello... did someone forget that he dropped "It's About Time" back in 1993? Remember that track "Who's the Mack?" Yeah... my sentiments exact. In 2006, who will buy a CD from Ralph Tresvant? Nobody bought the last two BBD joints. And talk of comparing Ralph Tresvant to Marvin Gaye? That's like comparing William Hung to Donny Hathaway! Reading that line had to be a joke.

The only members of New Edition with a good chance of making a decent comeback are Johnny Gill and Bobby Brown. In my opinion, Johnny Gill can be marketed as a balladeer because he has the voice to make it happen. Get him with the right producers and a record label that isn't afraid to sign a vocalist in his mid-30's and the man can sell some records. Bobby Brown? People will pay to see and hear Bobby Brown now. He can thank reality TV for that. Granted, no one thought to cop "Forever" because that was such a horrible effort and even Bobby knows that! Still, apply that same formula to Bobby as you would to Johnny and you got a hit or two.

Ralp Tresvant? Please? Trust me when I say he is better off onstage with his homies and taking us back down memory lane with "Cool It Now."

I am actually suprised by this being the biggest NE fan (yeah i said it) New Edition fan on here.

I don't know if I will run and get it b4 I listen to the trax first. I never heard the second album but that single off of it was hot for a minute (with a sample of Mercy mercy Me).

Anyway, good that he is getting in2 other things like Ronnie doing his Home Loans stuff.
Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

I agree with much of what you said, except the part about Bobby Brown making a comeback. He's a media joke. His reality show might be a success, but that won't necessarily translate into huge record sales.Johnny Gill is the only member who could make a credible comeback, imo.
