If you picked a random stranger on the street, I'd guess "I Just Called To Say I Love You" or "Part Time Lover".

Sadly, you're probably right sad It's irritating to think that IJCTSILY is far and away his biggest selling hit.

Amazing that I Just Called to Say I Love You is his only tune to make #1 on both sides of the Atlantic.

Looks like that's the winner.

Part Time Lover was a big hit at the time, but I don't really hear it that much anymore? I think many people may have forgotten it. Unlike "Superstition" (which seems to get played daily on VH1 Classic) and "I Just Called..." which still get lots of airplay on oldies stations.

The most famous hit is "I Just Called To Say I Love You".

After that I would say "Sir Duke" (even if people can't get the title right).

I feel a lot better about this if I judge "most famous" by his performance on the R&B chart. In that case...

That Girl - #1 for 9 weeks

I would say it's between "Always", "Superstition", "Livin' for the City", "I Just Called...", but more than likely it's "Ebony and Ivory" due to the McCartney factor.
