KC & JoJo nod

I forgot all about K-Ci & JoJo....they will ruin a perfectly good song with over singing.

Then when K-Ci starts taking his shirt off... no no no!

Aretha
Patti Labelle
Mariah

Someone said George Michael and Gloria Estefan - WTF?? I've never heard either of these people over-sing.

I love GM! He doesn't overdo it-- his notes are usually simple and clean, to my recollection. Very pleasing.

Lauryn Hill doesn't oversing! Most of the time she's low-key actually.

She's dynamic. Alot of the people listed here just oversing right out the gate.

Damn near all these female R&B singers of the last 10 years. They sound like they are trying to overdo it and compete at "Amateur Night At The Apollo".

i don't know about all of them but most of the ones i've heard are like that. i really don't understand it either. do people actually LIKE that type of stuff? (the singing that is) it seems to be so very popular so i guess they do. i can't stand it.

my nomination for this topic is "bleeding gums murphy" from 'the simpsons'. i'm talkin about the episode where he sang the national anthem before some ball game i think.
