I think Jessica Simpson has great vocals but she just doesn't use them well. Now Donna Summer....great voice and knows how to use it! I don't fault Jimmy and Terry for working with her...it's just that that the song was pretty terrible. Hopefully Janet inspiried them to do better, or she worked with Andre Beggers on more than one track this time....

Donna Summer working with Jimmy and Terry? Now that's something I would like to see, since I've always loved Donna Summer's voice.

I think it's been thrown out there when Donna was making an album in 2000. Not sure if it happened. Linda Perry was also mentioned. Donna's work with hot dance producers like Hex Hector, Tony Moran and old friends like Bruce Roberts aren't too shabby. Listen for them.

shame on Jam and Lewis for producing crap like this mad

These guys used to be outstanding producers. Not anymore. These days, the stuff they produce is mostly crap. And why would they work with someone like Jessica Simpson?! I guess they have to pay the bills somehow.

For the most part,Donna never works with R&B producers. It's a shame, really, because she has one of the most soulful voices ever.I'd love to see her record a kickass R&B album althouh I'm not sure if Jam and Lewis are a perfect fit for her.

Morris oughta beat they ass. Only way it could be worse is if she yelled "minneapolis!" like Janet did on Escapade.

Maybe they saw it as a challenge.

"You know we're good if we can produce a great song for Jessica Simpson!"

They accepted the challenge and lost.

You're right but her collobrations with Quincy Jones ("Donna Summer") and Keith Diamond ("Mistaken Identity") tell me she should stick with dance pop producers. She really seems to be clicking with her recent efforts.

Agreed! I loved Jam and Lewis back in the day; now they just use too many samples. barf Their music is not what it used to be, that's for sure!
