I kinda got into them after seeing Queen Of The Damned. David Draiman did most of the vocals for the songs that Stuart Townsend was singing in the movie. I like "Down With The Sickness". Disturbed actually has a strong vibe to their music and are unique-sounding. A rare trait for "Nu Metal" bands. I'm generally not fond of "lead screamers" and prefer listening to people who can actually SING but Disturbed rocks like a muthaf***er!

my sentiments exactly nod I really like Pantera for example but can't stand the lead "screamer" ...Sevendust for example are so awesome also and Lajon the singer has an AMAZING voice nod

Down with the Sickness? To me that song sounds like a parody or something. Every song they do sounds the same and without that guys voice they would be nothing.

Disturbed are one of my favorite bands. I first got into them after hearing Down With The Sickness, their first album, "The Sickness" has some AWESOME tracks like "Voices", "Stupify", "Down With The Sickness", "Violence Fetish" and more. I haven't heard their second CD "Believe", but it's supposed to be really good.

I have to say, I was slightly disappointed with their third album "Ten Thousand Fists" which came out this year, although there are some good tracks like "Stricken", "Guarded" and "I'm Alive". It wasn't as good as "The Sickness" though.

Get out of my head! I was going to mention Sevendust as an example of good "Nu Metal" but I didn't want to get too far off topic. Even though Corey Glover owes them an asswhooping, I like them a lot. They also have that same "bite" to them like Disturbed. This is also one of the reasons I like RA. Rhythm plus a hard groove without all the bad vocal stylings.
