Songs in the key of life is one of the best albums from the 70s, by any artist.
It`s like a greatest hits album, that`s how good it is!!

My favorites:
Isn`t she lovely (with the intro)
I wish (one of `his best songs)
Knocks me off my feet (so beautiful)
Pastime paradise (still better than the coolio song)
Joy inside my tears (amazing!!!)

A lot of Stevie fans don't like Songs in the Key... as much as Talking Book or Innervisions. I never knew why, but I think I know now. Songs in the Key of Life Transcends R&B more than ever before, and the songs nearly cover literally every style of music.

That's why I have always thought it was his greatest album, but I can see some folks being confused by Contusion, Summer Soft, Another Star, or Saturn, and Isn't She Lovely forshadows some of the syrupy pop that Stevie would lean towards later on.

I still think it's his most complete album, and it's the intersection of his commercial & artistic peaks. But it's a bit lighter on the Superstitions, Living for the Citys, Maybe Your Babys, Higher Grounds

My favorite from "Songs in the keys of Life" are

Ordinary Pain
Have a talk with God ( cause of the bass and the message)
As
Pasttime paradise

I had the Fullfilgness Finale(1974) I like a couple a songs on that.

Don't jump on me for this, but I prefer Eric Clapton's version.
