Oh man and I just found this out.

His shit is raw and original and very funny especially his work from the early 70s. I also like his acting too.

If wasnt him there wouldn't be Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock, and many comedians after Pryor who all said that he influence them.

RIP.

I just heard about it 10 mins ago. So sad. He was one of if not the best comedian ever. My prayers go out to his family.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

"Always keep some sunshine on your face."

That improvised mudbone routine was the key to his genius.

Unlike many who followed him, his comedy could be shocking, but also revelatory.

He was never afraid to make himself the butt of the joke, nor was he ever afraid to make a larger point outside of comedy.

He was never afraid to show you who he was, warts and on, on stage, and never afraid to admit when he's made mistakes.

He could be funny reading a phone book.

He was the ONLY King of Comedy in the past thirty years.

He could have you cracking up about something and then, out of nowhere, actually connect to what is most human inside of you.

Man. Words cannot express the loss.

God Bless You, Richard....

Gosh, he was the funniest ever!!! I have to say, "Which Way is Up" is one of those movies that you just don't forget about. Whenever I know i want a laugh, that is one my choices that pops into my head. He was the Greatest.

he had been through so much in his life, he was often troubled and did horrible things to himself, so i guess now, he is peacefully resting..... biggrin
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Richard Pryor was the brightest star in the humor trinity. First there was Lenny Bruce, then Carlin -- BUT PRYOR SURPASSED THEM ALL! The man is the standard by which all other comedians are judged. I love him....and always will
