MTV's Making the Band 3

Did anyone watch the reality show called Fame. The one which Debbie Allen and Joey from Nsync hosted awhile back on NBC? I was wondering if the same Shannon that was 2nd runner up is the same Shannon in Diddy's new band. I could be wrong.
