Steve Arrington's Hall Of Fame : " What Do You Want From Me " Listen http://tinyurl.com/8rbjc
I brought-up this band somewhere on this forum before . An Orger had responded about the overseen-status of this album they did . The selftitled HOF-album ( 1983 ) before "Positive Power" got a little more commercial attention . Outstanding trax on the follow-up are : - 15 Rounds - Money On It - Sugar Momma Baby - What Do You Want From Me - Mellow As A Chello Mayn , i received this album a year after it's release an played it a zillion times . Still , the jams are wild and get me I'd really like to see this released on official cd . . . . [Edited 12/9/05 14:31pm]

Yay!! Steve Arrington( with the dive -bombing vocals)!! Yeah, they need to reissue ALL of his stuff. I liked Hall of Fame I better than Positive Power, but it still had some Kool Jams, actually the ones you mentioned, especially "Mello as a Cello"...
By the way, I don't Know if you're into Arrington's stuff with Slave, but they just reissued four of their albums on CD! Slave(1977) and Stone Jam(1980) were already in existence, but they just released two 2 for 1 CDS: Hardness of the World(1978)/ The Concept(1978), and Showtime(1981)/ Visions of the Lite (1982). Now if they would just release 1979's Just A Touch Of Love album, I'd be Set!! ... I'm not familiar with those albums. If I love Stone Jam and Slave are they worth getting?

If you love Stone Jam, Then you will definitely like Showtime -- (you'd also like Just A Touch of Love ...they need to put that one out...I really like The Concept -- more of a showcase for their loose raw funk, and Mark "Drac" Hicks', wailing guitar (he has a Hendrix Blowout feedback moment at the end of "Just Freak" ...The Concept was also where Steve Arrington first joined the band , as well as Curt Jones and Starlena Young( later known as Aurra)... ...
