I see her being more into funk. Of course those are mostly the only threads I click on unless I want to shit on a particular artist. Anyway, Angela has had plenty of funk threads and knows her funk. She is now in the same league as former great lady orgers such as Hotlegs and Supernova.
Here's some jams I think she would like: We Don't Wanna Sit Down, We Wanna Get Down - Brick Get The Funk Out Ma Face - The Brothers Johnson Holy Ghost - The Barkays Bustin' Loose - Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll - Vaughn Mason and Crew Backstrokin' - Fatback Shake Your Pants - Cameo Wide Receiver - Michael Henderson Livin' In The Life - The Isley Brothers Dance Floor - Zapp Raid - Lakeside Hard To Get - Rick James Let's Work - Prince Traffic Jammer - The Barkays Party Train - The Gap Band Electricity - Midnight Star I'm Ready - Kano Lovely One - The Jacksons Too Hot Ta Trot - The Commodores Jungle Boogie - Kool and the Gang Body Talk - The Deele Thighs High - Tom Browne Do You Love What You Feel - Chaka Khan I Just Want To Be - Cameo Peanut Butter - Twennynine Pull My Strings - Lakeside Call It What You Want - Bill Summers and Summers Heat I've Just Begun To Love You - Dynasty I'm Freaky - O'Bryan Slide - Slave Ain't Gonna Hurt Nobody - Brick Ain't We Funkin' Now - The Brothers Johnson Glide - Pleasure Express - BT Express Ffun - Con-Funk-Shun Fight The Power - The Isley Brothers Skin Tight - The Ohio Players Give Up The Funk - Parliament Andy is a four letter word. | |
