Eaten Alive by Diana Ross!

I just bought this cd import on the weekend. First of all what really struck me was the cover which screams 80's! The title cut is hott with Jacko singing background vocals. The faster tracks are hot but they are too many slows jams for me which kind of ruins it a little. Annyone else like this album?

Experience and love on the line are good songs, and of course chain reaction, the rest is not so impressive confused

I agree with you! That's exactly how I feel. Too many slow boring songs. It's a shame because the first 2 songs are kicks ass and then it goes down hill.

I'm a sucker for an early 80's Barry Gibb production so yes, I've always liked that album together with Barbra's, Kenny's and Dionne's smile

Don't laugh folks but I like this CD. It's kewl to hear The Brothers Gibb's production and songwriting.

I like "Eaten Alive" "Don't Give Up On Each Other" "Crimes Of Passion" and Chain Reaction"

I read Diana has a Streisand Complex that's why she did this CD after they did "Guilty". All that aside she sounds good on the songs and they wrote for her range and made it work.

It's like It's Raining Men Pt. 2. The best part is when she's soaring over a beautiful scenic village that "magically" - through the wonders of early 80's music video special effects - becomes a muscled man.

Ok, so I don't have the album but I do have the 12' of the song 'Eaten Alive'. As a kid I thought that song was HOOOOOTTTTT.

And yes I do remember the video. I agree it's very Island of Dr. Moreau(sp?).

Hey do you guys remember Pat and Cat (Future Prince Dancer) danced to 'Eaten Alive' in the grand finale of the first Star Search competition? She actually had on a tiger or leopard print outfit and headscarf. They lost however.
I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.
