I want to like them both. I only like three songs from each:

History--Scream, They Don't Care About Us, 2 Bad

Invincible--Invincible, Rock My World, Butterflies

I love every other MJ album. Is it just that they suck?

I'm exactly the same with those albums. Except I decided I wasn't even going to buy my own copy of Invincible.

Along with Dangerous, History is Michaels greatest work, it proves that he is a true musical artist rather than just a pop act. The music on History is so emotional, it evolves, develops and it all works well together, I love the way the album starts with him screaming and ends with him laughing and whistling. Its rather uplifting.

Invincible was the biggest disappointment of my life, individually there is nothing wrong with any of the songs and most of them are really good

Are all brilliant but the album just doesnt make any sense, there is no flow, no purpose and it all sounds soo cold you just dont feel anything. I think my annoyance with this album was made worse by "The Rainbow Children" which came out at the same time, because that album was so warm and the complete nemisis of invincible

On History 2 On only They dont care about us other than that I didn t like History 2. Invincable only 4 songs I liked. Break of Dawn You rock my World Butterflies and Heaven can wait.

"Invincible" truly is shit outside of the singles. "YRMW" is solid, catchy (if childish) pop and "Butterflies" is easily one of his best songs of the last two decades.

I've heard more emotionally involving, artistically accomplished music than "HIStory: Part II", and the unsympathetic bitching throughout it (hey, he shouldn't have been sleeping with young boys and bringing all the media attention before that on himself in the first place), desperate pile of hot producers that went into half the record, and overblown publicity compaign for it afterwards just killed it for me.

Invicible was easily his worst album. There were a few good, even great tracks on there but there wasn't anything on it that I loved. History wasn't that much better but I LOVED You Are Not Alone. That song made me get the History CD.

The five singles plus Money & 2 Bad are good tracks on History. His version of Smile is a beautiful performance, too.

I like everything on Vince except Privacy & The Lost Children.

I can understand Invincible cause the only good songs are, you rock my world, butterflies and whatever happens. Heaven can wait & break of dawn are still weak to me sure the tracks are alright but nothing great. Dont walk away is nothing special but i personaly like this song.

Other then that Invincible is a load of shit horse! The rest of the songs are generic and pathetic.

And Earth Song + Stranger In Moscow??!! = What are fucken GENIUS!!! To me these songs are masterpieces man!! The beat, sound and vocals give me the creeps. can anyone not hear this?
