Hi there,

Oh well… I do respect his past as a Beatle, who wouldn’t? smile

However, it would be quite a pity that the award went to a guy whose last international hit was interpreted by a choir of frogs... He is putting the poor Stella to a shame... lol

Fair enough. The way you said it, I was like, why? But okay.
Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

u2 are the most overrated act in history, everything they put out gets nominated despite all of it sounding practically the same. Ill never get over the 87 grammies, absolute joke.

My money is on Mariah Carey this year. They havent given her any grammies since '90 and i think they will feel the need to pay her some respect this year for a complete reversal in fortunes and a return to good music, i say she's a safe bet for at least 4 wins.

No Mariah is one of the most overrated acts in history
I DON'T WANT TO BE NORMAL,because normal is part of the status quo, which I don't want to be a part of- Tori Amos

lol What's you're definition of overrated? Mariah has never ever been a critical darling. She's been a critical pariah her whole career. So, I have to ask how in the hell is she overrated?

Overrated in the fact that she has sold more records than far more talented & interesting women like Teena Marie,Minnie Riperton,Joni Mitchell & Laura Nyro, just to name a few.

Alicia Keys is no doubt more talented quite a few 20-somethings in the music business, but that Unbreakable song is a piece of name dropping crap, that shouldn't be nominated for anything.

What a joke. disbelief

I know popular music's been on a pretty steady downward spiral for the past while, but this just solidifies it. Part me is really hoping Prince was right about the industry imploding on itself sometime in the next few years.
