wow,the bridge is my favorite part of the song Interestingly,on the album version, the bridge appears three times. The first time,it is sung by Valerie Simpson. The second time,it is sung by Chaka Khan. The third time,it is a saxophone instrumental. For the single version, they used the Chaka Khan vocal.

This is my favorite of his seventies/eighties albums. I love this track, and also the Patti Austin showcase "Love Me By Name"...also "Love I Never Had it So Good", and the epic, "(Tell Me A) Bed Time Story"....

ahh this one is a clasic too...
the fact that my beloved Chaka was singing on it makes it automatic, but what makes it extra special was that when it came out my youngest brother (he was maybe about 2 years old then) would always sing this one and always want us to play this song... "can you pway the 'OOwah OOwah' song?" boy could barely talk... singin "OOwah OOwah, oowah oowah stuh like that..."

you like this album even more than 'The Dude'? Yup!! Something about the sound...it's not quite as slick as the 80's stuff...as much as I love The Dude, I prefer the sound of .."Sounds....An'Stuff Like That", "Body Heat", and "I Heard That"....but that's just me... ...
