I am so proud of the remix I did ( a bit of the "prince learned" minimalist collage, and snipping), I just submitted it.... we should trade to listen. I concentrated on one song key and cut a lot of the other (other songs') elements

I think the button to export to cd is missing from this demo version... I'll check again. I could reroute the audio output to a recorder (maybe even a DV camera) and then put it to cd.

2. Export
By clicking the button, you can export your mix as a CD quality song, which you can then keep with the rest of your music on your computer, put on an MP3 player or burn onto a CD. As these files are large, do not attempt to send them unless you have serious time to spare...

Please note that this button may not appear as the band may have requested that it be removed for their track.

I feel high, because whenever I work on mixing music, I get into the emotional "narrative" of it, and I get so lost in its abstract world.

I love the ending I formed.

I had the remix begin quite suddenly to give it an edge.

all the parts that they have given us to juggle and tweak are so beautiful.

Are you using the volume keyframing ability?

you touch the volume line and it adds a point which you can drag up and down to increase or decrease volume wherever and whenever you want on a track. I used this a lot to have keep specific notes of an instrument or vocal but then lose other notes that didn't fit my mix.

McCartney had them leave off the export button but it would have been on the bottom left.

ufoclub.. hope to hear yours soon. I am on the work computer and will check yours out when I get home. cant wait..

wouldnt that be really neat if one of ours made the cut?

i would be " eek "

I actually worked like 3 hours on perfecting mine.. If I had to take anything back.. it would be less vocals.. but I am not sure what they are looking for... my approach was "what would nigel like if he was listening?" and I am not even sure he is one to hear it..but he is a huge mixer and part of pauls latest prodjects.. so I based my taste and judgement on what he would like.. and he is all about the atmostpheric orchestra type stuff...

dunno.. im happy with mine.. I just wish I could have mine to myself.. even if it didnt make it.. i'd love to have a copy for meself..

will hit u back after hearin yours!smile
