I just listened to this yesterday for the first time in years. I added it to a mix CD about our cat that I'm putting together for my wife for her stocking this Christmas.

I was listening to it thinking "I have no idea what he's talking about, but hey, he mentions the word "cat""

Oh shit,I go crazy over that song!! It took me years to find the original 1978 version.Several of Chris Rea's compilations contain a lame re-made version.
