5 CD's U would try to fetch if the house was burning Yes, I´m bored.
Mine would be, probably: Sticky Fingers, Abbey Road, 1999 (recently I´ve thinking to switch to Dirty Mind)... maybe Murmur?, Vinicius en vivo con Toquiño y Maria Creutza (1970), Highway 61 Revisited "Todo está bien chévere" Stevie

Thinking of a couple things that would be hard to replace: my autographed Tori Amos "strange little girls", and my Disintegration vinyl picture disc.

I wouldnt fetch any CDs because they can be replaced! Id take the records tho!
Tapestry by Carole King Zoom 12" single by the Commodores Jackie Moore 12" of This Time Baby Purple Rain The Family album The first 3 are of huge sentimental value, so Id have to take them. Purple Rains my all time favourite album and Im amidst a mad love affair with the Family right now, which is pretty rare on vinyl. I should also add that my house hasnt been on fire, but the ceiling caved in above me and those are what I took!

4 of my Jackie Wilson cds...I can buy all those other CDs anywhere. When you finally find Jackie you have to hold on to him.
I'd squeeze in Dangerous as well

forreal well, whatevs. the three i listed aren't available on precious vinyl, so they're the only sound recordings i have of those particular albums. and to get even MORE technosympathizer on yez, this is why iPods and mp3 players are important...if my place burned down, all i gotta do is grab my mp3 player and i'll at least be able to keep listening to just about all the music i own. small consolation, but a significant one.

Co sign Id take my ipod sooner than Id take my CDs, and Id only take stuff that I really couldnt get again...like my mothers worn out, beaten up, scratched copy of Tapestry with a torn cover.

I think he means that you get your ass out of the house and forget the cd's. to rephrase it, my desert island picks are: Abbey Road Songs In the Key of Life Emancipation--it's long at least! Bach's Brandenberg Concertos Ellington Live at Newport and I'd be so god damned sick of them all I'd want to kill myself. Check this song out at:
