Debarge's race What race is the group Debarge?
I'm always thinking that they are puerto rican, but I don't know. They can sing though Thanks | |

I recall an interview with their mother that appeared in "Black Beat" magazine in the mid-80s.She said that she is black and their father is French.
But I've also heard a rumor that they are half Puerto Rican,so who knows?  | |

I kinda remember that...I also remember some of the family members mentioning creole ancestry from New Orleans, which essentially is a nice gumbo of black, & white French ancestry, with a dash of Spanish-Indian, you know, kinda like the cayenne pepper to make the mix spicy!  | |
