For thread purposes, First Phase, first choice but I do dig all of it on some level.
As far as Blackbyrd,I think he is one of the only things that keeps "newer" P-funk interesting. I wish he was featured more and I wish George would release that Funkadelic Time Zone project because I'm guessing it would've really featured Byrd and Mike. Dog Star(fly on) proves want could be given the chance for Byrd to stretch out. Has anyone heard Time Zone beside the song on HLDUH2BB4URA?
Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

The Westbound phase does it for me. Standing on the Verge is one of the best rock albums ever. It's amazing how rock critics ignore it as it smokes!
