Albums (or songs) you're feeling at the moment Read some favorable comparisons to the Arcade Fire, so I thought I'd check 'em out. Really glad I did. Still totally famming out to this. Every time I listen to it, I love it even more. Gotta say that I really didn't like The Idiot. I decided to give this one a chance anyway, and I'm really glad I did. It's amazing! Great late '80s and early '90s synth-pop. I really dig a lot of these songs; "A Little Respect", "Sometimes", "Victim of Love", "Ship of Fools", "Chains of Love", "Love to Hate You" all are just . Also really digging "Grace" by U2. Totally wrote off the song for the longest time, but now I'm discovering how beautiful and melodic it is. "Only You", "Situation", "Don't Go" and "Nobody's Diary" by Yaz are also getting lots of airplay from my Ipod. I just ordered their two albums from Amazon, so I'm going to have to see if they're as good as the aforementioned tracks. Funnilly enough, about two weeks ago I was bitching about getting bored with music. Now there aren't enough hours in the day to listen to what I really want to. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

Any fans of Arcade Fire should check out the three songs they did with Bowie at Fashion Rocks, namely Wake up.

Propaganda by Sparks is probably better than Kimono My House.

I really dug Fantasy, but never heard anything else from him. What do you suggest?

Listening to 'em for the first time right now, and they are freakin' awesome! Love this early 80's electronic sound. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

I really dug Fantasy, but never heard anything else from him. What do you suggest? well Fantasy is such a great song. He also played on Bon Jovi's best song Runaway. Under the Gun is also a good song, something Y&T woulda made.

right now i'm going thru a Eurythmics phase thanks to the reissues. I"m buying all of the 12 inch singles that I don't have off eBay.
Also obsessed w/ Melissa Etheridge's cover of "Piece of my Heart" from her new Greatest Hits CD. She gives it 100% and it is amazing.
