Even Alica Keyes? Too slow for me. My favorite artists have always been mostly hard and funky and do ballads only every now and then. Also, I hear a little hip hop vibe in her music which is really a turn off for me. Andy is a four letter word.

I figured she you would like Alicia because she has a bit of oldschool in her music I see Alicia as very talented but she has too much of the current sound in her music. I hear a little old school influence in her music but the slightest bit of current sound just turns me off. I just wish this current sound that has dominated things for so long would go out of style. Someone like Alicia could really be great then. It's the same with Chante Moore. A few years ago, I had some comp tickets for her concert and gave them to a friend of mine because I know his wife likes her music. His wife kept asking me to come with them and he wanted me to go also so when he got bored, he would have someone to talk about her with. Her music on the radio bores the hell out me but at the concert, it sounded completely different. She was singing with a live band. The real drums and the real bass completely made the difference. I looked at my friend and said "Now if she would do something fast, she might be alright." I be damned if she put on a big afro wig and broke into "The Best Of My Love" by The Emotions. The girl worked that song. I was impressed. There are people that are capable of throwing down but they have to weaken their stuff on CD with the weak instruments they use to appeal to today's listeners. Andy is a four letter word.
