i paid something like $250 for two tickets to a beck show this year. i know that isn't exactly astronomical, but it's more than i'm used to shelling out for tix.

my mom paid $400 a ticket for us to get front row tix for bowie on his last tour...i thought she was nuts, but when she offered me the ticket, i didn't turn it down!

I paid $350 for Duran Duran. It was "VIP" section, 3rd row, between Simon and Andy and great view of Nick. It included a pre-show gathering for fans in that section and included snacks, and a few complimentary souvenirs including a a pretty decent sized travel bag and water bottle. It should have included meeting the guys, but instead only one of us could win. It was worth it, but I'm not sure if I would do it again.

$300 for VIP tixs for Family Jamm.

$110....Prince tix Musicology tour Indy...we bought the tix two days before the concert. 9th row!! I was pleased.

It wasn't so bad. I sold two extra tickets for "The Dawn" aftershow at Kings X on the same night for £1000 each.

I ended up at the front of both shows, but £1700 richer. Happy days!

Well, my boyfriend paid $130 each for the Madonna tickets.

My mom paid $140 each for Rolling Stones tickets (below face value!!!)

And I paid for $90 for Prince and $90 for Tori.

last year Madonna ReInvention Tour June 2nd Anahiem California at the Pond. Floor Section 105 Row 1 seat 1 right at the point dead center of the end of the catwalk so during American Life and Holiday she was standing right over my head.

are we including the cost of getting to the show? if so, it was probably prince's opening night of musicology in LA. if not, probably tori amos's last visit to chicago. those tickets cost me over 300 bucks! and worth every penny!
