What AMAZES me is that, if I'm not mistaken, NO ONE else listed "More Bounce". Tsk, tsk, tsk...SHAME, SHAME, SHAME! Listen ya'll, "More Bounce To The Ounce" may be the FUNKIEST song EVER recorded by known humans. Just my thought. Like I said earlier, there are THOUSANDS of songs by various artists in different genres of music that have hella funky songs, that's a given. But, I can't think of any that hits my skull and my soul like "More Bounce". And just for ya'll that don't know' Bootsy wrote the music.

Great Choice, but where's your list, man?

Actually George and Bootsy wrote that track. It was originally a tune called Funkin' Out of Bounce that was intended for Parliament. George put the track together including the vocalcorder. That was totally his idea. That's how Roger and Zapp had that sound. That groove was the beginning of the unreleased Parliament tune. He gave the song to Roger and the writing credits. Yes a funky tune indeed!

Now for my favorite funk tunes

1.Atomic Dog ---George Clinton
2.Lickin' Stick--James Brown
3. Thank You For Letting Me Be Myself--Sly and The Family Stone
4.Funky Sensation---Gwen McCrae
5.Bottoms Up--The Chillites
6. So Ruff So Tuff---Roger Troutman
7. Controversy--Prince
8. Ahh The Name Is Bootsy Baby--Bootsy's Rubber Band
9. Disco To Go--The Brides Of Funkenstein
10. Sex Shooter--Apollonia 6

Yeah, I know. Bootsy wrote the music.

I don't see these as "funk" songs . . . but then again, what is the definition of "funk"?

Well, first of all, I was just teasing, playing with u all. The reason nobody mentioned "More Bounce", regardless of the reason, is neither here nor there. And hell yeah, this topic has been beat to death.
