If you haven't seen the feature film version of "RENT" yet, what the hell are you waiting for? It's a wonderful, if not great, film. And you'll be reaching for your Kleenex by the time "Will I?" finishes.

What amazes me about RENT is that it can sucker-punch a cynic like me with it's bludgeoning sentimentality. Like a local critic said in his review, "RENT" doesn't have a cynical bone in its body, unlike "Chicago". Sure there might be problems with it, but when all is said and done RENT just makes you feel good.
