Beatles full catelog digitally remastered.. not too far down the road?

I think its something they are holding out on.. I know the only thing out of their ordinary catelog has been the Yellow Submarine album & Let it Be (Naked)

one's I'd really like to check out are

White Album (of course)
Magical Mystery
Revolver
Abbey Raod

I'd love it if they did it as well as Let It Be. In fact I wish they'd remix and remaster them.

The early stuff might be hard to fix too much, but I'd like to hear a bit more drums & bass in them.

And it's blastphemy, I know, but I might like to hear a proper stereo mix rather than vocals all on the right, instruments all on the left like they did on lots of the early stuff.

The White Album could use it too.

Abbey Road hardly needs anything.

All Things Must Pass desperately needed it, and it was sad to read the liner notes on how George wanted to get rid of all the reverb, but he didn't do it.

I don't really think they'll do it to the Beatles while Paul is alive. He seems to want to preserve the legend as is. I think it's only because he didn't like what Phil Specter did to The Long & Winding Road, and how it didn't fit with his original vision of the Get Back record that Let It Be Naked happened.

That would be me - I'm holding out for the remasters.
I don't own any Beatles cds.
I never upgraded from vinyl & 8 track.

We are Beatle twins spearated at birth, SDL - these, plus Rubber Soul, would be my choices as well.

I would buy 'Sgt. Peppers', 'Revolver', 'Abbey Road' and 'The Beatles (white album)' if those would be re-released! smile

I didn't know Yellow Submarine was remastered. Repackaging it was a great idea, though. It was always the worst Beatles album, hardly worth owning. Worse than the American version of A Hard Days Night.

Yeah, the original album only had the new songs & Yellow Submarine & All You Need is Love (?). No other movie songs, just orchestral stuff.
