I have been stuck on Motor City Madness,One Nation,Uncle jam (by Funkadelic),gloryhallastoopid,motor booty,greatest hits(parliament),strange beahaviour(duran duran),jesse 12"(jesse johnson),and the lost album(lewis taylor)!I know that's a weird mix,but I have been on it!I made an mp3 cd of all this and I have been really on it. I have a couple of questions:It appears that Funkadelic was a much more successful entity than parliament was as far as musical achievement,sales,and impact.Is this a correct view?Funkadelic symbolizes limitlessness to me and parliament,as brilliant as the recordings are,was more a groove-oriented thang.(2)Where can I get more Duran mixes?I have "the chauffeur(matty mix) on mp3,but I want a mint copy on cd.What is that on?(3)(I lied about the # of questions)Is The Lost Album beautiful or what??I played some tracks from that and some tracks from For You to a friend and she fell in love.She had never heard of Lewis and she had never heard For You.I just think the vocals on both cd's are outstanding.Great,great stuff!!
