Did James Iha give you a copy of his failed solo attempt? That isn't a dig, really. I loved his solo single.

According to Billy, the whole splitup was because of James, so interesting to see what happens. I would like to see them all kiss and make up though, I miss them. Hey if he can make mends with Jimmy, why not James and D'Arcy?

I don't think there was ever a problem with Jimmy, who was on the Zwan album and his first solo album...both winners! The funny thing is that Jimmy was kicked out of the band for a while, when they released "Adore", which was a really good disc. My sister bought that while I visited her in Ann Arbor years ago and listened to it the entire time and loved it.

I bought the Iha solo record, because I thought "his" songs on the Pumpkins records were great. It was a disappointment to me though, I thought the songs were a little thin all around.

Zwan rocked me! Loved that cd.

Too bad Billy's crazy.

Around the time of Jonathan Melvoins death, there was an interview with Billy and the rest of the band about why they kicked Jimmy out. Billy Corgan was pretty stern in his comments on why they got rid of him, for at least a while there it seemed there was a little bad blood.

Adore is a fantastic album, I believe he described it as "arcane night music", which fits it perfectly. They really refined the electronic direction they hinted at on Mellon Collie.

And I've been totally rediscovering that album lately. I slept on it at the time and now I have no idea why. It's gorgeous!

It's cool that you guys love Adore. I for one think it's boring as hell. I just don't get all his soft piano ballads. He loves to hear himself make noise - just like Prince.

Then again I think Mellon Collie could've been half as long for all its bloated rage songs. I hate it when bands get too much money.
