I think this song is very underrated. I may be wrong but Shake it down by War seems is a very good song though its sound like a Rick James cut. I wonder did this song was popular at all?

what album is this song from? I only have one War album from the 80s ('Outlaw', released in 1982) but I can't recall if this song is on it.

The 'Outlaw' album,released in spring 1982,is fantastic,and it was considered a major comeback for them,after the poorly recieved 'Music Band' album.It contains the hit single "You Got The Power" and the excellent title track (which is reminiscent some of their best 70s hits).It even includes a kickass slow jam called "Baby It's Cold Outside".With more albums like this,War could have thrived throughout the 80s,but alas,they seemed to fade away.

War is one of my favorite funk bands. When they came out with Peace sign in 94 it didnt do all that good. Well the title song was getting a good deal of air play though. I may have to get outlaw . When I first heard Babby its Cold outside I couldnt' beleive it was War. I heard mostly their 70s cuts.

Outlaw sound like a 80s version of Cisco Kid. I like Outlaw.
