big Patti fan here. Seen here too many times to count live. have most of her albums.

Listened to Classic Moments her new disc this weekend...just once so far, but I have to say... it's kind of a disappointment.

The productionn just seems.... i don't know.... boring, and flat. Nothing like her live shows..... or even previous albums. The songs are all covers.... but the only one that stood out was "keep forgetting" by Michael Mcdonald.

The other ones just seemed flat. It's sad cuz Patti can really deliver.

"Flame" was an amazing album from start to finish.

Any others hear it?

I bought the album some weeks ago, just had time for one or two spins, and I'm still sitting on the fence... the choice of songs seemed cool to me, but the production.. well.. probably she was too much attempting at a commercial success with the whole project, but cover albums hardly ever achieve this, she should have known that

never seen her live in person (just several TV shows and concerts) but you're right, she's the bomb then! her Live Aid appearance 20 years ago was by far the best of the whole bunch
