Ciara could B the new Janet but I dont think Gewen has the popularity and recieved that much success musically as Madonna has. Ciara is definately up there where Janet used 2 B though.

I think Gwen has acheived a name in her own right. I see her building a career of her own as opposed to being Madonna's replacement.

Ciara? I don't think she's done anything credible really. Replacing Janet is a no no. There's no originality in that girl.

Oh by the way, Madonna and Gwen are distant cousins, for those who don't know.

considering i have no idea who ciara is, and gwen has ripped madonna so frequently that she can barely be mentioned without madonna's name coming up, i'd say madonna and janet are still the new madonna and janet.

why can't everybody be themselves? everyone always has to be "the new"

gwen has been around for more than a decade and still she's called the
"new" Madonna lol.

You may be right about Gwen Stefani. She's been around for awhile with No Doubt and now her solo career. But Ciara? No way. She's just a flash in the pan. 5 years from now, She'll be on one of those where are they now segments.
