Both Bette Midler and Ozzy Osbourne do great verisons of "In My Life". Much better than the original. More heartfelt.
Best Beatles cover of all time is easily Joe Cocker's "With A Little Help From My Friends"!

Pepper's Lonely Hearts' club Band-Jimi Hendrix In My Life-Johnny Cash 3 days after the album came out, Jimi Hendrix opened a concert with this. McCartney and Harrison were both there, and were very impressed that Hendrix learned it so quickly .
