Michael Jackson about to dawn his return?

Is Michael Jackson going to do any shows or CDs anytime soon? eek

I mean because during the time of the trial, especially during verdict time, Diane Dimond (Gosh I hate that woman - I sat behind her one day in court - ick!mad) was reporting that Michael Jackson was back with his manager from the Thriller and Bad eras (Frank DiLeo) and that there were talks of a Jacksons brothers tour! Now, I don't personally see this happening due to Michael being in Bahrain or London or wherever he is these days. Point being..it is NOT Neverland Ranch or anywhere near his brothers in California.

So does anyone know? Is Michael about to release something..anything? Katrina single? CD? Tour? Anything!!!!! I'm kind of tired of listening other artist's new music..I need some new Michael!bored

I've been sworn to secrecy, but apparently it's an album. Can't really say any more, and I have no idea why it's so secret cos no-one outside his fanbase really cares. Just waiting for record deal negotiations to get underway, and there lies the problem.

A new album????? biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

I heard he talked to MJNI (I believe) and talked about the song "You Are So Beautiful." (or something..)

I can't wait for the new album. I hope it happens soon! The King is needed back where he belongs. Not on trial. Not in Bahrain. But, with his fedora on his head and behind the mic! smile

The words "coming soon" in Michael Jackson-Land make me cringe. Just because if I had a dime for every Michael Jackson related project that was supposed to be "coming soon" and came MUUUUUCH later..I would have probably close to a dollar. Invincible was announced like back in 99. It took two years from then. Normally when an artist announces a release, it comes out that year.

I hope this release does come SOON as opposed to later. smile

November 9th, 1999. Ah, the date I had circled on my calender for ages when Invincible was first supposed to be released lol

Sorry, I wouldn't hold my breath for a new album. What the H-E-double hockey sticks is holding up the Katrina single?!

My plans for MJ in the next year:

1) THERAPY: for whatever is going on in that head of his

2) REST: No performing, no cds, no fans...just chill out and try being Mike instead of Michael Jackson, play with ya kids, hang out with your brothers, etc.

3) MAKE-UNDER: no red lips and awful wig....

4) SPIRITUALITY: get centered

then in 2007 or 2008....release the cd you're working on now eek lol

I'm laughing along with you. What year is this 2003?

Whenever I listen to "One More Chance" I am reminded of Michael's sad mug shot and arrest. Thomas Sneddon is such a sleeze in my book along with Gavin and Jordy and their families. Yuck.

i could care less about it being a hit, so long as its GOOD. as a matter of fact i'd love it if it were a hot underground type album that got little recognition, then he could focus on doing GOOD music and not HIT music

hug I agree one hundred percent. It is good to see someone so smart biggrin

However, Michael is the type of guy that will feel like a failure if it doesn't sell BIG numbers. sad

Sure, he will blame someone else, but he knows deep down, that it wasn't "Thriller" numbers and that hurts him. I feel sorry for him. In some ways him getting his dream of having the biggest selling album was a blessing, but it was also his problem. Because ever since "Thriller" with the exceptions of "HIStory Disc 2" and "BOTDF" it felt like he was chasing it. And it is sad sad
Dangerous content wise was tens time better than Thriller (IMO). I mean sure Thriller has its moments (Billie Jean/Human Nature/Startin' Somethin') but Dangerous has double the awesome tracks and few skip songs (IMO).

Dangerous would have been right up there with Thriller if he had finished the world tour in America and released the final single. Its still sold 32million copies, was the fastest selling album ever and was a top 5 biggest seller of the 90s!

the man was just doing his job, protecting the worlds children. if mj wasnt soo naive (ie, stupid) Sneddon wouldnt have had anything to go after.

sorry folks, but we should never take the security of our children lightly.

Job is one thing. Vegeance is another. Sneddon had NO case and knew upfront the family had lied and were money grubbers yet he pressed on. Sneddon was out for blood and is slime in my book. mad

biddon was overzelous, yes..but once again he was attempting to protect a child. i dont care what the crazy family was up to if one of the kids in my family were in danger i would want someone like sneddon to step in and protect them. keep in mind it wasnt sneddon's call to make. he is only responsible for providing a judge with the information. the fact that a judge deemed the case to be worthy should be all that matters. but mj fans ignore that small bit-o-info because they want someone to hate. when instead they should be upset with their icon.

Actually the judge that "approved" it..I'm sure the "document" Sneddon provided the judge with was about as bogus as his case. You could get an inditement for a ham sandwhich. Sneddon was out for blood with Michael. He cracked jokes at Michael's expense at his press conference when he should have just been doing his job. What if Michael was your child? Would you want someone on a power trip out to get your son jailed? I doubt it.

Sneddon is as evil as it gets in my book. He changed the laws in California to make the child testify.

It serves Sneddon right that he lost the case. He will be forever known as a "loser" as he should be.

Listen to the song "D.S." if you want the TRUTH about Sneddon. wink

I don't know guys. It's just hard for me to get excited by Michael Jackson making a new cd. He's always been a one-trick pony. Since the Thriller, all his songs have sounded alike..but of lesser quality. As much as we like to give Prince grief for changing his style too soon, I have to admit -- Prince's constant evolution does make you look forward to hearing his next album. That's more than I can say for Mike

thats soo sad but true. IMO almost all of mikes albums, with the exception of invincible are better than thriller. it was a nice album, but compared to off the wall for instance its nothing. IMO thriller was his downfall, it put him wayy more in the public and put his expectations up too high and his ego, i think mike thinks (or hopefully now thought) he's a bit untouchable
